1^st   DAY / SATURDAY  CATANIA

Arrival at Catania. Pick up at the airport  and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Welcome cocktail, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

2^nd DAY /SUNDAY –CATANIA/SIRACUSA/RAGUSA 

After buffet breakfast, depart for Syracuse and visit the archaeological area including the famous Latomie of the Paradise and the Dyionisios “Ear”. Continue to the island of Ortigia, historical center of the city. Lunch on your own. Visit of the Cathedral and Arethuse fountain. Depart for Ragusa and accommodation at Hotel Mediterraneo (4 stars). The evening will be dedicated to a fascinating visit of the historical center of Ibla and a dinner in a famous restaurant with a typical sicilian menu. Overnight.

3^rd  DAY /MONDAY  -RAGUSA/PIAZZA-ARMERINA/AGRIGENTO

After buffet breakfast, depart for Caltagirone famous center of the sicilian ceramics production. Continue to Piazza Armerina and visit  the worldwide known Villa romana del Casale thanks to its well preserved mosaics. Lunch in a local restaurant  with a special menu choosen to give the opportunity to taste the local specialities. Depart for Agrigento and visit the Valley of the Temples. Accommodation at hotel and dinner at your hotel. After dinner, unforgettable tour of the Valley of the Temples by night.

4^th DAY /TUESDAY – AGRIGENTO/PALERMO/MONREALE

After buffet breakfast depart for Palermo. Accomodation at the Hotel. Time at leisure and lunch at your own. In the afternoon visit of  Monreale : visit of the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments of the world, and the Benedictine Cloister in arab-norman style. Continue to visit the historical center of Palermo, one of the largest of Europe  ( including the Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel, the Royal Palace ). Accomodation at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

5^th DAY/WEDNESDAY– PALERMO/SEGESTA/ERICE/TRAPANI/

/PALERMO

After buffet breakfast, depart for Segesta to admire the Temple and the Theater surrounded by a suggestive landscape. Continue to the medieval village of Erice placed on the top of a hill, and walk in its tiny and characteristic streets. Lunch on your own. Down to Trapani  viewing the salt windmills still working. Return to Palermo. Dinner at  a  local restaurant. Accommodation at your hotel

6^th DAY/THURSDAY PALERMO/CEFALU’/PARCO DEI NEBRODI /TAORMINA /GIARDINI NAXOS

After buffet breakfast, depart for Cefalù and visit the arab-norman Cathedral. Enjoy a walk in the streets of the small village and continue to the Park of “Nebrodi”. Stop at the Miraglia Forest for lunch with a typical menu including home made pasta. Continue to Cesarò, Randazzo and visit  the Etna park from an unusual point of view, the North part of it. Indescribable landscapes will appear under your eyes. Arrival in Giardini Naxos, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

7^th DAY/FRIDAY – TAORMINA/ GIARDINI NAXOS

After breakfast, full day at leisure in one of the famous  Mediterranean resorts. Enjoy this free day by walking in the streets of Taormina placed on a position which has inspired a lot of artists. For those who will be interested, possibility of an optional excursion to the Mount Etna ( till 1800  mtrs or ascent to 3000 mtrs). In the evening transfer to Catania port  Embarking on ferry,  by using  dbl/b cabin  to Naples.  Dinner at your own . Overnight on board

8^TH DAY/ SAT -  NAPLES / POMPEI / SORRENTO

Arriving at Naples, meet  at the port  with  the group  for a short panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. After a short visit to a Cameo and Coral factory, arrival in Pompeii. Visit of the ruins of this famous Roman city destroyed 79 A.D. by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.  After lunch in a typical restaurant, proceed along the coast to Sorrento, a jewel of the Sorrentine peninsula, famous for the cultivation of oranges, lemon and olive trees. Dinner and  overnight stay

9^th DAY/ SUN - SORRENTO

Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

10^th DAY/ MON SORRENTO / CAPRI

At 08.30 am hrs departure by boat for Capri. Short panoramic tour of the island (not included the Blue Grotto).Overnight at the hotel.

11^TH  DAY/ TUESDAY -  CAPRI

Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful island, to plunge into the limpid water, or for an optional trip to the Blue Grotto. Overnight at the hotel

12 ^TH  DAY/ WEDNESDAY -  CAPRI - ROMA

Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. Transfer to Naples early in the afternoon (at 04.00 -04.30 pm approximately), where we shall start our trip back to Rome. Traffic permitting, 9.00 pm is the estimated time of arrival in Rome.
