Fishing-tourism

Brucoli is
a small fishing
village located in the
Siracusa
Province. Tourism
involves only the summer season from middle of June to middle of
September.Thanks to the particular
position and in order to
extend the economy of such small town, our company
together with local fishermen have studied
some particular itineraries
based on fishing activities and itti-tourism. Fishing-tourism
consists in some excursion along the coast, performing
fishing activities
under the observation and restoration on board of professional
fishermen. The fishermen give to the tourist the possibility to assist
their daily working routines such as, going to the sea early in the
morning pulling the fishing-nets or
to use special boat for
angling or by performing night
fish with a “lampara” (lamp light). Such
programs give the possibility to
the tourist to leave in a fishing
village by using all its facilities and equipments,
and if they wish to
overnight at fishermen's house, instead of an
hotel

Arrival at
Catania airport and transfer
to the fishing village. Accommodation at the Hotel or in a typical
Bed & Breakfast or in a
fishermen’s house. Meet with our staff and
detailed information on performing
the fishing itinerary according to the season and to the sea
weather condition
Welcome dinner in a typical
restaurant. Overnight. |

2nd day FISHING- |

Early departure for fishing at sea in
order to pull out the nets or to go angling
with a special boat.
Special Breakfast at a bar-cafè,
with “Granita and Briosce”
After a breakfast, clients
may decide to relax or to perform
a tour, by visiting the most interested
places of the area. Afternoon at
leisure. Dinner at your own. Overnight.

for performing own activities,
i.e. trekking or riding an horse or to swim (during Spring or summer) or
excursions in the surroundings
In the evening performing a night fish
with “Lampara”
