1st day : Catania – Syracuse or Catania surroundings

Arrival at   Catania airport and transfer to  Siracusa or Catania

(according previous request by the clients) In the afternoon, meet  with our staff for information regarding next days excursions, supplying also some brochure and maps of the area. Proceed 

to the restaurant for a welcome dinner. Overnight at the  Hotel

2nd day : Siracusa or  Catania /ETNA

Breakfast and  at 08.00 departure  for a full day excursion  to ETNA. We will reach  at  2.000 meters.(terminal bus ) and we will visit Silvestrian Crater. The excursion  may  continue (optional) by catching a cable way  to reach at  2.500 Meters  and  (weather permitting ) by off-roads car  and  professional guide  to reach to Etna crater. This excursion  with take  about  3 hours, and  it will be necessary special  shoes and winter clothes, specially during the winter period. At  noon  on the way back we will stop at the Tenuta san Michele for a wine degustation  and lunch (free) After the lunch we will proceed to Alcantara  gorges for a fantastic walking excursion, by renting  special boots and clothes, into the fresh water of the  Alcantara river (Such  excursion will take place normally in spring and summer or according  metereologic weather condition at the time of performance. At  5 pm back to the hotel  Dinner (free). Overnight

3^rd  day   SIRACUSA or CATANIA / PACHINO / NOTO

Breakfast  Morning visit of Siracusa, ( the archaeological area, the Greek theatre,Dionisius’s Ear,Roman Amphitheatre, Ara of Ieron) Professional guide (optional) on request , than proceed to Pachino, on the extreme  south of Sicily, well know for the agriculture and wine production for a typical lunch (free) and wine testing. On the way back we stop at Marzamemi, fishing village and NOTO, well known  as the Capital of Baroque, recently approved by the Unesco,  as Patrimony of World Heritage. Back to the hotel. Overnight

4^th  day   SIRACUSA or CATANIA / TAORMINA

Breakfast  and  departure for the excursion to Catania ( visit ) lunch (free), then proceed to Taormina  by crossing Cyclops Riviera, (Acitrezza and Acicastello ). Visit of  Taormina  and walking tour in the narrow typical streets. Time permitting we also visit Castelmola. At 5 pm back to the hotel in Siracusa

5^th  day   SIRACUSA or CATANIA

Breakfast. Full  day at leisure. (Optional:

a) Cooking lesson in a farm or in well known restaurant  

b) Excursion to Modica  and Ragusa, very interested places of Baroque age. In the evening  Good-Bye dinner in typical restaurant

6th day : Departure

Breakfast and transfer to Catania airport. End  our services

Cooking course description

From 9 to  2  pm  Cooking course in a farm or famous restaurant in town. Itinerary will be  At  0900  together with the Chef, the  participants  will  go to market,

for buying  main ingredients necessary for the cooking performance. Back to the restaurant the Chef  will  provide  information how to prepare the  Sicilian  foods and  suits  (Cannoli ), by  letting the  participants to cook  and prepare the foods  by themselves helped by the kitchen staff.

At  1  am, lunch will be served with the meals have been prepared,  and  testing  different  type of Sicilian   wine.  At  3  pm   back to the  Hotel.  Afternoon  at Leisure
